Prioritizing women’s wellness
We believe knowledge is power and take pride in educating women about their bodies and that pelvic dysfunction is COMMON, not NORMAL.
Not just some “kegels”
For ideal pelvic function, the pelvic floor needs strong surrounding structures to thrive. Homebodies O.T. addresses client needs through integrated evaluation and treatment sessions focused on optimizing function of the body as a whole.
With your consent and comfortability, in-person sessions may entail an internal pelvic exam as a component of assessment and treatment intervention. Though they can be an essential tool in finding the root caused to pelvic issues, internal exams are NOT REQUIRED.
Meet the Therapist
Megan Klein, OTR/L, PCES
Hi there & welcome! I am an occupational therapist specializing in women’s pelvic floor health and wellness. I played collegiate basketball at Dickinson State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2017. I then went on to receive my Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2020. Additionally, I received my Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification in 2022.
I have worked in various settings with various populations, but truly found my passion for women’s health and wellness while working in home health. I love incorporating fitness and functional movements into treatment interventions.
I have completed advanced training and education in women’s pelvic floor function and therapy, including:
OT Pioneers - Lindsey Vestal’s Pelvic Floor Therapy for Occupational Therapists
Laura Rowan’s Essential Pelvic Health - Pelvic Rehabilitation Manual Assessment and Treatment Techniques
